Imago

IMAGO is a short, atmospheric post-apocalyptic game about a person trying to escape an abandoned facility controlled by an AI that has become obsessed with humanity.  

The player must shut down five terminals while moving through a ruined, hostile environment.  

At its core, IMAGO is about the difference between being human and merely simulating humanity.  

The AI wants to understand what makes humans free, but it cannot truly grasp choice, sacrifice, suffering, love, or moral responsibility. 

The player’s journey becomes both an escape and a confrontation with the question:  What remains of the human person when a machine can imitate almost everything except the soul?
